How long does it take to change the timing belt on a 2 door 2002 Honda Civic?

My husband is going to attempt this on Saturday with the supervision of a mechanic, but my husband is novice himself. He is confident he can do it, I am just curious about the time investment since we have a wedding that day also. How long does it take to change the timing belt on a 2 door 2002 Honda Civic?the last one that i did with the water pump took 4 hours with the owner talking to me at the same time. but i have been doing this fro 25 years. on my car it took 6 hours because i had to wait for a part that broke, the harmonic balancer cracked when i pulled it off, i also did a water pump and a timing belt at the same time though. along with a coolant flush...How long does it take to change the timing belt on a 2 door 2002 Honda Civic?It took me more than 14 hours. Good Luck!How long does it take to change the timing belt on a 2 door 2002 Honda Civic?if you've doen it before prolly like 1 hour, along with the water pump. i can do it in 45 if i'm jamming. but in the back yard it would take me about 2 hours with out air tools. make sure you get the tool to break the crank bolt. if not you are gonna be there forever trying to get the crank bolt off. the eng rotates opposite so you cant break it with the starter. give about 4 hours with out beer. add 2 hours for the football game and beer breaks.How long does it take to change the timing belt on a 2 door 2002 Honda Civic?2.5hrs if u have a car lift..
