Do you recommend to change the timing belt at the dealer or local garage?

Well this is all left up to trust. Since the timing belt is such a vital part to the engine, I would trust the dealership over a local garage, because the dealership has all special tools needed and are more likely to warranty the work they do if anything went wrong with the timing later on down the road.They also use the best parts for you car, OEM parts.Do you recommend to change the timing belt at the dealer or local garage?alot of newer cars are better to do at a dealer because they have the proper tools where some local shops will try and make their own tools and not torque the timing bolt to the right foot pounds and you will be driving down the road and the timing belt will come off and the pistons will bend your valves.Do you recommend to change the timing belt at the dealer or local garage?who ever you trust more... if you have a local guy you go to all the time, go there...Do you recommend to change the timing belt at the dealer or local garage?A good garage can do the work. Remember you get what you pay for. Id go to the dealer for that price. Best to put on a new pump so you dont have to go back in there later.
