When should I change my timing belt on my 2004 Mazda M3? 60K miles or 105K miles?

I have a 2004 Mazda M3. My dealership said I should change my timing belt at 60,000 miles. I looked in the owner's manual and online and it says to inspect it at 60K, but it doesn't need to be replaced until 105,000 miles. I don't know anything about cars, but I do try to take care of them. If it needs it, I will change the belt, but want to make sure because it is a $400 job. Any thoughts? When should I change my timing belt on my 2004 Mazda M3? 60K miles or 105K miles?play it safe do it nowWhen should I change my timing belt on my 2004 Mazda M3? 60K miles or 105K miles? That's about right.

60K check, 100K or so, replace.

Or just wait till it breaks (thats what I usually do) - though it might leave you stuck somewhere.
